On November 18, 1943, Orgnacco Nelson assisted in the rescue of 95th Squadron pilot, 2nd Lt. Donald N. Pollock, when his P-38 crashed at the airfield in Lecce-Galatina, Italy. Pollock died the next day from his injuries. Orgnacco Nelson's daughter, is seeking family members of, Donald N. Pollock

Orgnacco Nelson was born 1921 in Udine, Italy. In service in the 'Aeronautica Italiana Cobelligerante' with the rank of '1 Aviere Scelto Motorista' in the 4 Stormo - Caccia 96a Squadriglia. During his military career, Orgnacco received numerous commendations of recognition. He passed away in 1977 with the rank of 'Maresciallo 1a Class Scelto SPE'.
